The company is run by Paul Kent a highly experienced conservation worker, trainer and contractor, whilst the business is based in the South Wales Valleys we can carry out works, run training courses and offer consultancy throughout South and Mid Wales and the English border counties

Traditional masonry / heavy timber construction and restoration:-
Building and repairing stone walls using traditional lime or hydraulic mortars
Re-pointing of lime bonded stone and brick work
Repair and replacement of large timbers using traditional joints or flitch plates

Riverine and woodland management covering:-
Control of invasive species
Tree planting, natural regeneration / rewilding and
Thinning, coppicing and selective felling

Wood debris management
Hedge laying / planting
Dry stone walling
Living willow revetments
Rubbish clearance (particularly from difficult to access sites:- river beds, gorges etc)
Access works including:-
Footpaths, bridges, stiles, gates and fences
Provision of fishing platforms and canoe portage / launch points
Maintenance of forest rides


Training is available from introduction level to OCN or NVQ
Hedgerow care including planting, aftercare, restoration and hedge laying
Small tool maintenance and repair
Dry stone walling
Woodland management
Other works:-
Design of small scale fish passes
Initial Hydro power / mill restoration feasibility
Guided walks, cycle and river trips in South Wales and Herefordshire
